Believe it or not, hempwa.com is the only hemp supplier i could find in Australia, so I set up a wholesale account and have used mainly this canvas fabric for the upcoming collection.

This particular canvas is made from 55% hemp and 45% organic cotton.

It really is a great canvas with a lovely even surface. It’s tough but soft, great for printing, bags, upholstery and more.

As you can probably guess from the name, I found this particular cream, 100% hemp fabric whilst travelling through Nimbin.

It was completely by chance when I went into a little haberdashery and there was a full unopened roll!

After a visit ot Fern in Melbourne, I found a fabric roll of this material in a charity shop (which still had an old delivery note attached).

Somebody’s waste is someone else’s treasure!
